Thanks to Shahira Osman and her friends, kids and parents had a blast on Halloween making masks, decorating their outfits with glitter and stickers, and taking pictures with some interesting characters. The children came from low income families living in Chinatown. The fun continued after all the decorating to Grant Avenue, where the children were greeted with lots of treats.
In the afternoon, our Children’s Theater Class decorated their own masks and performed a 10-line play with chorus for the parents. A good time was had by all.
