A temescal is a ritual bath house found in pre-Hispanic Mexico which was used to bring physical and spiritual renewal. The concept spoke to the four musician-friends and thus named their quartet: The Temescal String Quartet.

About the Event

The quartet is composed of Barbara Riccardi and Katherine Button, violins, Jonna Hervig, viola, and Nancy Bien, cello. The quartet will be joined by Carl Blake, pianist in this performance.
