About the Event
Lyre of Apollo Workshop
In this workshop, you will meet the Lyre, her history and the myths that shroud her, and how it is currently reintroduced to the worldwide music community thanks to the work of LUTHIEROS Music Instruments, Hellenic University of Thessaloniki, and Lyre Academy, the first global music academy for learning ancient musical instruments.
No music background is required, this workshop refers to amateur and professional musicians, music therapists, storytellers, educators, academics just to mention a few.
The workshop is only for the ancient lyre. Theodoros will be teaching the workshop for the lyre.
Ancient lyre will be available for practice with no additional cost.
At the end of the workshop participants will be able to play ancient greek melodies!
