On the 15th of Chinese New Year is the lantern festival. One of the traditional games was guessing riddles that had been written on lanterns. We will imitate the ancients in this event with audience participation. Riddles will be presented by our gracious host, Empress Yee, assisted by her lantern pixies. Chinese traditional music will be performed by guqin master David Wong, along with ancient and contemporary poems by Clara Hsu and Greg Pond. Clarion’s resident dance troupe, Grant Avenue Follies and others will also perform. Join the fun. Test your mind. Prizes for everyone.
