The Amber quartet is a collective of graduate students currently studying at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Formed within the past year, the ensemble’s name derives from their sound goal, to emulate the warmth of amber. Members include Katie Lambert (Mundeleine, IL), Reece MacDonald (Fort Worth, TX), Tsukimi Sakamoto-David (Gatineau, QC, Canada) and Miriam Snyder (Hartsville, SC).
